Personal Safety - At Home:
Ensure that all house/apartment doors are locked at all times. When the residence is unattended check that all windows are also locked.
Never give your house/apartment keys to anybody else and do not leave keys where others have access to them.
Before you admit any callers to your house/apartment ensure that you are satisifed with their identity.
Inform a trusted neighbour if you are going away. Make sure that there are no obvious signs that the residence is vacant, e.g curtains drawn during the day.
Take Precautions:
The tragedy of assault can strike anyone at anytime. Equip yourself with the skills you need to defend yourself in the event of an attack.
