TARA BUILDING
The Tara building is a 4,400 square metre space arranged over four levels. Its facilities include:
- Four tiered lecture theatres ranging in capacity from 100-300 seats
- 30 meeting/seminar and teaching rooms ranging in capacity from 18-70 seats
- Four IT Teaching Laboratories ranging in capacity from 30-36 seats
- The Lime Tree Theatre is a 510 seat theatre with a six metre High Definition Cinema Screen and is one of the Shannon Region's premier performance spaces. Visit www.limetreetheatre.ie for further information
- The Lime Tree Bar (winner of the Architecture Expo Interior Design Award 2013)
- Student's Union Shop and Banking Facilities
A feature of the building is the large open recreational area called 'The Forum' which has Wi-Fi connectivity and can be used for launches/presentations or general gatherings.
